Additional drivers notes when coming from Wallace: The North Shore Road meanders towards the shoreline and then turns a sharp right at the Horton Point Turn off. The ocean is then on your left. When you get to the Right hand turn off which takes you to Jost Winery, do not turn but continue straight towards Malagash Mines. We are situated 1.6 km past this turning on the (left) ocean side.
This is probably the easiest as Jost Winery is very well sign
posted from all directions and all tourist information centers
will be able to give you directions.
Proceed to Jost Winery. As you exit the driveway of Jost Winery
turn left. This takes you to a stop sign at a "T" junction which is
about 100 yards from the Jost driveway entrance. The ocean is
then in front of you.
Turn right towards Malagash Mine. The ocean is then on your left
and Crows Joy is 1.6 kms. (1 mile) from this turning. The number
is 1483, North Shore Road, Malagash, which is indicated in large brass numbers on the gate post. There are 2 houses on the property. One is a 2 storey white cape cod and the new Crows Joy Studio building is the large coach house with a red roof.

The most scenic route is to take the Trans Canada West (highway 102) past the Airport towards Truro and turn right just after the last Truro exit (at exit 14A) towards Bible Hill and Tatamagouche. Follow the signs towards Tatamagouche on highway 311 (around 80 kms). Proceed through Tatamagouche onto Route 6 to Jost Winery. Time from Halifax 2 hours.
Proceed towards Amherst on the Trans Canada East (highway 2). At Amherst exit onto Highway 6 towards Pugwash and proceed through to
Wallace. Follow directions from Wallace below.
Directions from Wallace: Proceed through Wallace on route 6 towards Tatamagouche. Turn left 4 kms after Wallace onto the North Shore Road towards Jost Winery, Malagash Mine and Horton Point. Proceed along the North Shore Road for 7.7 kms following signs to Malagash Mines and you will see our home on the left (ocean) side. Directions from Wallace: Proceed through Wallace on route 6 towards Tatamagouche. Turn left 4 kms after Wallace onto the North Shore Road towards Jost Winery, Malagash Mine and Horton Point. Proceed along the North Shore Road for 7.7 kms following signs to Malagash Mines and you will see our home on the left (ocean) side.
